The ECDL program always logs the distinguished points found to the
dist.points file, regardless of the mode. If you're running in http
mode, you don't need to send us the dist.points file, but it's a
useful archive of all points your client sent us. For instance, you
can count the number of points in that file and check that it matches
the number of points we received from you, as shown on the ECDL Web site.
