It can be run as a service (or in a DOS box) and takes advantage of
multiple processors on Windows NT.

On Windows 9x it requires a reboot on first installation, which is not
convenient, but subsequently restarts automatically after every reboot,
which is convenient.  =:-)

Make a new ECDL directory and download (using shift-click in your browser):
  either the ecd114.zip file and unzip it
  or the contents of the ecd114_unzipped/ directory.
