The file "ecdl" is a binary executable for Alpha Linux. It was compiled using gcc 2.95 on RedHat 5 with: gcc ecdl2-97.c -O2 -freg-struct-return -static -o ecdl strip ecdl and tested on RedHat 4, 5 and 6. It is quite big at 157 K but there is a compressed 67 K version in "ecdl.gz". It runs at 343 k iterations per second on a 500 MHz Alpha EV56. Download, gunzip if necessary, do "chmod u+x ecdl" and run with arguments like this: ecdl { } : Either test, mail, alt or batch. : Something to identify you by e.g., your email address. : Name of the team you are on e.g., one you just made up! : The machine name. : The machine hardware type e.g, '500 MHz Alpha EV56'. : The OS name e.g., Linux. : Optional extra text.
